The FOS2 implements a Spot Oxygen Saturation (SPO2) method - SPO2 means, that the oxygen saturation levels are being measured repeatedly, every few milliseconds.
Each measure gives a Spot-like image of current oxygen saturation level.

MediTech's New FOS2 is a compact, light weight, accurate - pulse oximeter, designed for on the go spot checking of vital signs, in a simple non-invassive procedure. By simply cliping the device to the finger, users can receive a SPO2 and pulse reading, withing seconds. The FOS2 Provides various displays of blood saturation and pulse in what is commonly known as an SPO2 device. Reflective Pulse Oximetery (RPO) answers a wide range of needs and serves various roles in the medical and recreational fields.
